Hearty Congratulations to Her Excellency Mrs. Aisha Buhari @aishambuhari on receiving three awards in the USA. As the Visionary Founder, I am proud to present Her Excellency Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the Firstlady of Nigeria with the Distinguished Global Award for Excellence in Women Empowerment and Gender Development by Global Empowerment Movement (GEM) Corporation USA Honors.

Mrs. Buhari was honored with the Distinguished Global Award for her relentless efforts at fighting gender-based victimization, human trafficking and uplifting womenfolk in Nigeria. At the event to witness the honor were the First Ladies of Burkina Faso, Niger and Gambia, wives of Governors and government officials including the Minister of Health and the representatives of the Nigeria Mission to the United Nations.

Her Excellency was also conferred with the Honorary Citizen of Georgia Award signed by the Secretary of State of the State of Georgia, Brian P. Kemp from Senator Donzella James of District 35 and The Resolution from Georgia Senator Steve Henson of District 41; during the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly Side Event discussing my awareness-educational Anti-Human Trafficking movie: “Mrs. Adams” and an empowerment book: “We Are The Blessings of Africa, Reshaping Our Greatness Together with a focus on Awareness Education, Women Empowerment, and Development Solutions for Prevention.
