Motivation and Plot

Dr. Queen Blessing’s recent research and documentation on the Human trafficking issue details the negetive impact of human trafficking for sexual exploitation and forced labor. The production of the Anti-human trafficking film is part of my public awareness education program which is aimed at preventing and eradicating Human Trafficking.

The film is an empowering educational tool used to create awareness in schools and communities across Africa, Asia and in Western Countries. It will encourage a critical discussion of the impact of Human Trafficking on the social and economic development of women in general, and economic life cirmcumstances of women especially in rural communities of Africa.

The movie, Mrs. Adams is focused on African Human Trafficking. Poverty makes many people easy prey and target for human trafficking. As a public health practitioner, Dr. Queen Blessing believes in prevention. She takes delight in using the multimedia to propagate and disseminate informative entertainment, educational messages, that will empower not just the public, but the most vulnerable young men and women through awarness. As an actress, I played the lead role as Mrs. Adams..

Her ultimate goal for producing the movie is to provide practical solution using poverty eradication empowerment (Self-Economic Empowerment (SEE) Life Skills via talent discovery, talenet development, and deployment of their full potential for behavioral change necessary for preventing and eradicating human trafficking. One of the practical solution is engaging people in the discussion. As seen in the movie, awereness is the ultimate solution that stopped a young naive girl from falling another victim, even in a foreign land.

Mrs. Adams movie tells the story of a super-rich lady, well connected Sharon – Mrs. Adams, who embarks on illegitimate, criminal business of  human trafficking and prostitution of young ladies from Nigeria – Africa to Europe. Her woes starts when she requested her man, Adams to bring a naïve, poor girl from Nigeria to Europe to work in her restaurant with the ultimate goal of making her one of her trafficked prostitutes, except that this time, Sharon met her match, a very determined naive young women – Nonye, who is determined to not be tempted or forced into prostitution no matter what, she would rather die than become a prostitute.

Mrs. Adams will change the narratives against human trafficking. It is full of intrigues, hatred, deceit, romance and above all comedy to keep you relaxed.

The movie has an assemblage of some of Nollywood best superstars amongst whom are Francis Duru, Cossy Ojiakor, Cynthia Agholor, Uche Ogbodo, Jude Orhorha, Obi Madubogwu, Casandra Odita, Olutokun Amos and George Eyo etc. and international stars, including Dr. Queen Blessing Itua, Isaac Izoya, Mathias Kramar, Hassna El- Bacha, Anslem Okhaimoh, Faith Ogoigbe, Imke Brenks and sensational Frankfurt based Zambia music icon, Yvonne Mwale. It is a laudable endeaveor for Dr. Queen Blessing managing both Local and International movie stars that have captive audiece all around the globe.
